What's changing in 2021

the British manufacturer begins 2021 by attracting new customers with more affordable machines. Trail riding begins with the 850 Tiger Sport, the new name for the 'simple' 900 Tiger. On the roadster side, the 660 Trident brings 3-cylinder motorcycling to the MT-07, Z 650 and CB 650.
On the sporty side, the Speed Triple RS climbs to 1200, gains 30 horsepower and loses 10 kilos. The bike becomes a hyper-roadster with very high potential. Unlike previous vintages, there will be no standard version (more affordable with less sophisticated equipment).
The Classic range is upgraded to Euro5 with a few minor modifications: less weight, minor improvements for each model, the Bobber Black front axle (which disappears) for the standard Bobber, more watts for the 900 Bonneville, a special Gold Line series for the Street Twin and a SandStorm for the Street Scrambler.

A combination of high ambient temperatures, high current loading and excessive lateral tension may cause the wiring between the alternator and the harness connector to form a bridge. As a result, the connector can deform. This can result in a short circuit, increasing the risk of fire, and creating a risk of accident.

A combination of high ambient temperatures, high current loads and excessive side voltages can cause a bridge to form between the wiring between the alternator and the wiring harness connector. If the connector blades form a bridge, a thermal threshold may be reached which exceeds the connector's capacity and causes it to deform. This can lead to a short-circuit, increasing the risk of fire and creating an accident hazard.

The engine can generate excessive heat, which can lead to reduced radiator fan performance. Reduced cooling efficiency can lead to coolant leakage from the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.

The electronic control unit may adjust the air/fuel ratio based on inaccurate data received from a sensor, which can lead to unstable idling and engine stalling, creating an accident hazard.

1200 Speed Triple RS

Incorrect threading on the rear axle. As a result, the brake disc mounting bolts may loosen and come into contact with other vehicle components, causing the rider to fall.
