Motorcycle specifications Triumph2500 Rocket III R Black 2021 Evening details

The Rocket III goes blacker than black. A trend that's been very much in vogue over the last few years. When a dark exterior isn't enough, it's time to dress it up with a number of elements, even to the point of confusing the bike with the night. That's what happens with this 'Black' edition, produced in a limited series.
Triumph decided to offer 1,000 examples, the same number as for the Rocket III GT Triple Black and the Street Twin Gold Line. Almost a cash standard for the manufacturer's 2021 special series. For a few hundred extra euros, this enormous custom with its insane engine offers a dark cachet, but not a black design.
We start with a touch of carbon for the front mudguard, then plunge into the midnight bath. Black is everywhere on the Rocket III R: the exhaust system, fork tees, brake caliper brackets, frame plates, handlebars, controls, headlight surrounds, radiator scoops, Triumph logo... The whole list takes up a good paragraph. Only the steel strap and fuel filler cap, brake discs and screws are not black, nor are the badges after the engine, to underline the name of the machine.
All this in the weight of a standard Harley Sotftail, whose twin-cylinder engine is 30% smaller in cubic capacity. But the target audience isn't the same, and neither is the technical level.
Like all the English brand's special series, the Rocket III R Black limited series will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
