Motorcycle specifications YamahaXVS 950 Tour Classic 2012 A Boulevardier's approach

since the demise of the Royal Star Venture, medium- and long-haul touring enthusiasts have had little choice in the Yamaha range. Either succumb to the siren calls of the GT models, led by the FJR 1300, or take a look at the equipment on offer to enhance your Midnight Star. Thus was born the 950 Tour Classic. A way to travel light on the youngest bike in the custom range. This boulevardier, as we say in Quebec, has the aplomb of a cruiser, the charm of a bagger and the wink of America.
with just three components, the 950 XVS extends its range considerably. A large windshield, a pair of lockable suitcases and a sissy bar, it's a life-changer. No more hesitating at the slightest drizzle or the whims of Madame. Thus equipped, the 950 Tour Classic gives you protection, storage and extra comfort.
Basically identical to the 950 Midnight Star, Yamaha's "little" Tourer shakes to the rhythm of its 942 cm3 air-cooled twin. It's a sufficiently powerful engine, with plenty of character. Fans of big, manly thrusts will be looking for bigger bikes, both in terms of displacement and price.
