Motorcycle specifications Zero MotorcyclesSR 2020 Feel like eating 1000?

Impressive torque. Spectacular acceleration. Instant response. The Zero SR boosts its performance with a reinforced controller and higher-temperature motor magnets. The result is a remarkable 146 Nm of torque, more than any production sports bike under 1,000 cm3. With arm-stretching acceleration and superior sustained top speeds, the Zero SR aims to make the gasoline-powered competition bite the dust. In 2020, the Zero SR will feature the updated Next Gen app, providing a simplified connection to personalized riding modes, charge status, various updates and bike diagnostics.
Let's not forget the 2019 evolutions: such as the ability to charge Zero SR 2015 and later models at up to 137 kilometers per charging hour with the aftermarket Charge Tank 6 kW accessory on Level 2 charging stations, 6 times faster than with standard 220 V sockets.
since 2019, the Zero SR has been equipped with a long-term storage mode. In a world first, the motorcycle automatically optimizes the battery's state of charge to further increase its longevity. No complex procedures required.

i'll try to answer your question
an internal combustion engine has poor efficiency, especially on a motorcycle. consuming 6 litres/100 for a machine weighing less than 200kg is really very bad
on the electric motor, we have motors with an efficiency of over 95% today, and if we manage friction losses properly, we can achieve a fair fuel consumption, depending on weight and aerodynamics
On a motorcycle, there are far fewer aerodynamic losses, which means less power consumption...
otherwise, I've been riding an SR for 2 years, and I'll never be able to get on a combustion engine again... yuck!

Worth looking into.
Better than a Twizy 80. Rating : 3/5 Respond to Herve46
Aesthetics close to those of a combustion engine, acceptable performance, even sufficient for normal use...
More progress to be made on recharging time and... price.
And there will be real competition between the electrics and the thermics. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Micka
