Motorcycle specifications ApriliaTUONO V4 1100 RR Misano Limited Edition 2020 A legacy on the line

No longer a roadster. The Tuono has been a hyperfighter ever since it picked up the 4-cylinder V engine from its RSV4 cousin. Fearsome, precise, extremely powerful and unscrupulous, it is one of the most formidable fighters of its generation.
It takes on the aspi of the sportbike to create a limited "Misano" series. A gesture that Aprilia has entrusted to America alone, although both the colors and the tribute are purely Italian. The idea: to recall the brand's first victory, in 87 at the San Marino GP. Loris Reggiani, the first rider in the Aprilia team, won the race aboard a 250 AF1.
At the time, the bike produced around 90 horsepower. The Tuono weighed in at 175. In the limited series we're interested in, there are no technical changes, but the decoration is based on that of the RSV4; both models vibrate under the same homage. A limited edition of 100 will be produced, with the added bonus of a lighter carbon-fibre front mudguard and lithium battery. This Tuono's numbering is inscribed on its fuel tank.
It would have been nice to have a few of these subjective-looking examples on the market. We can console ourselves by opting for a classic RR or a Factory with Öhlins pilot-operated suspension. Either one is enough to rip your arms off as well as your brain cells. With a little moderation? Only for the rider. The Tuono doesn't want to hear a word; only its electronics calm its fiery temperament.
