presentation of the KB998 Rimini Elite 2026
Bimota is , by its very nature, an exclusive brand with immense emotional appeal. It has proven this time and again with motorcycles featuring unconventional designs and/or formidable sportiness (Tera H2, Tesi 3D RaceCafe, DB8 OroNero, SB8R, Tesi 2D, etc.). Here is yet another demonstration of this, but one that is even more exceptional than usual. In collaboration with Provec, the Italian-Japanese brand is offering its hypersport bike in a version built to World Superbike specifications: the KB 998 Rimini Elite.
Provec is the racing team that manages the Bimotas in the World Superbike Championship, and which previously secured seven titles in the category for the Kawasaki Racing Team and its ZX-10R. Suffice it to say that when they take on the KB998 to transform it into the Elite version, the customer is guaranteed to have a track weapon in their hands.
In front of the Superbike entrance
Visually, you won’t notice the difference right away. Aside from the fork crown decked out in the colors of Italy and the absence of mirrors, the KB998 Rimini Elite doesn’t look radically different from the street version. But you’ll quickly start paying close attention to the details, which are sure to get your heart racing and your adrenaline pumping: the Akrapovic titanium and carbon fiber exhaust with a more racing-oriented look, the massive Taleo radiator, the blue-tinted fork tubes, the seat as thin as a sheet of paper, the Pirelli slick tires… This bike doesn’t just exude sportiness—it exudes racing.
First off, it needs power. An engine tune-up allows the Kawa 4-cylinder to produce 215 horsepower—a 7.5% increase. Torque also increases, rising from 111 Nm to 124.4 Nm. It’s a powerful engine. To make the most of it, a more advanced Mectronik electronics system is installed, offering far greater precision and parameters for traction control, engine braking, and mapping. A speed limiter is also included.
A 2D data acquisition system is on board, featuring sensors for the forks, shock absorbers, brake pressure, front and rear speed, oil pressure, and several other measurement systems.

This Bimota features a magnificent frame composed of tubular steel sections connected to billet aluminum plates. All around, it’s nothing but beautiful components, all focused on performance. Custom-tuned Showa suspension with spring sets of various rates, an STM clutch, a Texense shifter, T-Drive brake discs and GP4 calipers from Brembo, J.Juan brake lines specially designed for Provec, forged aluminum OZ Racing wheels, Provec-specific adjustable handlebar grips and footrest plates, a whole host of special parts, carbon fiber… and the crux of the matter: weight. All this optimization results in a much more efficient chassis and a weight reduction of 16.7 kg. The KB998 Rimini Elite weighs just 176 kg (to which only fuel needs to be added).
VIP Before and After
Only 5 units will be produced, each tuned by a dedicated technician at Provec. The price? We’ll save that for later. To whet your appetite, just know that it will cost a little over twice as much as a standard KB998 Rimini. But when you order this Elite, you won’t just get the bike.
This high-spec Bimota will be delivered to its lucky owners on November 24, 2026, at the Jerez circuit, after first paying a check for 20,000 euros… as a down payment; before parting with a total of 99,800 euros (excluding taxes) to take ownership. But Provec offers more than just delivery. It’s a complete track experience package. Buyers will enjoy a private test session with factory riders Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani, as well as development riders Xavi Forés and Tito Rabat. They will offer their advice, while the team support staff (a mechanical technician, an electronics technician, a suspension technician, and a team manager) will be on hand to fine-tune the bike and handle maintenance.

Oh, and as a member of the KB998 Rimini Elite program, you’ll be treated like a VIP at WSBK rounds, with full access to the paddocks and grandstands; you’ll get to meet the riders, enjoy guided tours, hospitality, and food.
Bimota takes you into another world—its own.
