presentation of the 1100 RSV4 X-GP 2026
It all began at the end of 2015, when Aprilia decided to launch the Factory Works program. Turnkey solutions to access even more efficient grinders than production hypersports; from simple optimization to a Superbike bike.
Then, in 2019, the guys at Factory Works decided to release a well-typed RSV4 in a limited series: the RSV4 X. From this emerged a line whose desire to slaughter the clock grew stronger with each generation, with the secret aim of getting a little closer to MotoGP each time. This time, they've almost succeeded, with the RSV4 X-GP!!!!
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the RS-GP, the machine entered in the world championship, Aprilia has released this stunning machine, the latest addition to the X family. A motorcycle infused with the best technical solutions the brand has to offer. No need to have a contract with an official or satellite team. Just a big cheque, lots of experience and fantasy at your fingertips.
The H.R. Giger mutation.
There's not much left of the RSV4. This new chapter identifies itself as the direct descendant of the ex3ma. The face is equivocal, just as menacing and tortured as last year.
The rear end, however, is quite different. Until now, the X models have retained the aggressive, pointed stern of the standard RSV4s. The X-GP concludes the transition to the premier class by adopting the same tail as the Grand Prix machine. A massive, visually heavy unit, loaded with new appendages for even greater aerodynamic efficiency. One of the two SC Project titanium exhausts is tucked under the seat, while side and hood fins (introduced this year on the RS-GP25) enhance the machine's stability.
The entire new rear section is made of carbon, as is the fairing. The fairing is based on solutions already tried and tested on the ex3ma model, i.e. unique specifications with a multi-layer carbon skin manufactured by PAN Compositi and winglets in all directions. The huge wave shovel under the nostrils loads the front end to a maximum to relieve traction control and improve corner entry; then the ambiguous shapes of the side panels create a ground effect to generate downforce in curves.
Thus optimized like a Formula 1, this RSV4 develops the same efficiency profile as a current MotoGP bike, and becomes just as ugly. In fact, its bodywork is virtually identical to that of Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi's bikes.

Ever more watts
Noale's engineers have once again managed to find more horsepower in the V4. 238 bhp spurt out at 13,750 rpm from its 1,099 cm3. 8 grunts have been found since the ex3ma thanks to new settings, an increased compression ratio, racing intake trumpets and a Spintfilter air filter. The block also boasts an extra 200 revs before the red zone, now set at 14,100 rpm.
Not a chassis... a razor-sharp blade!
Whispers had led us to believe that the swingarm would be made of carbon. Nay! But it will happen one day, I'm sure. The RSV4 chassis, with its double-spar aluminum frame and inverted-reinforced swingarm, is strong enough to take the load. To help it along, Aprilia has given it some very nice hardware, including an Öhlins FKR-type pressurized inverted fork, a TTX shock absorber (also Swedish) with MotoGP-derived management settings, a steering damper (also Öhlins), and cartilage-busting brakes. Brembo GP4-MS calipers, controlled by a Brembo PR19x16 master cylinder, bite into 330 mm T-Drive discs.
No carbon discs on the menu, but enough to keep you on the edge of your seat, velcro-style, with Pirelli Diablo SBK SC-1 and SC-X slick tires - those of the WSBK championship.
Aprilia has strangely chosen to replace the carbon rims with forged magnesium models. Even so, these Marchesini components are top-of-the-range (the rim can be lifted with a finger).
Agility will be formidable, especially as the bike is not very heavy. at 165 kg, it's only 8 kg heavier than a MotoGP.

With so much horsepower in the tank, the RSV4 X-GP needs powerful electronics. The APX control unit allows the rider to calibrate traction control, anti-wheeling, engine braking and power delivery for each gear. The APX is also equipped with a GPS system and handles data acquisition.
Aprilia has thought of everything. A large gift box containing a Yashi laptop with the appropriate software to manage the ECU and electronic strategies. Have a look underneath. You'll also find heated blankets, titanium workshop crutches, a mat, a cover, and a certificate of authenticity in NFT format. To conclude the handover of the bike, the purchaser can visit Aprilia's racing department.
Not to mention.... Yes, let's talk about all the racing parts on board. A STM dry clutch, a Jetprime dashboard, Spider machined parts (adjustable footrests, fuel filler cap, levers, brake protector), a fork crown with serial number, oversized water and oil radiators, a titanium sprocket, a lightened sprocket and an RK chain in 520 are just some of the highlights.
The other side of the line.
After the RSV4 X, Tuono X, RSV4 X Trenta and RSV4X ex3ma, their progenitor pushes the envelope even further. The Aprilia RSV4 X-GP is closer to a prototype than an exclusive sports bike. Even more aerodynamically advanced than a Superbike, and with similar power, it raises the fighting spirit of the X line even higher. 30 models will be built, and the price tag is set to climb to 90,000 euros (excluding tax).
For a bike you won't be able to enter in any championship... But it's certainly the only machine that will let you approach the threshold of a GP racer.
