Do you remember the very first World Superbike round contested by the Panigale V4? It was in 2019, on the Philip Island circuit, with a certain Alvaro Bautista at the controls. The Spanish rider was also taking his first steps in WSBK.
The two novices set off, chasing the official Kawasaki and its compatriot Jonathan Rea, both multiple world champions. Three bends later, it's already settled: the Ducati passes in front! And they're 15 seconds behind at the finish. The crowd went wild, the competition was stunned, and had it not been for a complicated mid-season, the rookie would have won the championship.

At the end of 2023, Bautista and the Panigale were world champions for the second year running. The Bologna-based firm wanted to mark the occasion... again. A special series of Panigale V4 S bikes was dedicated to Bautista's title last year - and here we go again for the second crown, just like a certain Panigale Bagnaia. The hypersport of the reds is now yellow, the livery it used for the rounds at Misano and the second race at Jerez de la Frontera.

This Panigale V4 Bautista is the only member of the "Racing 2023 Replica" family to receive a brushed aluminum tank and carbon-fiber fins. Then, like its siblings, it features a laser-engraved aluminum upper tee specifying the model name and progressive number; as well as a dedicated key and animation on the dashboard when initialized. The saddle is also made of a special material, with the rider's logo as on his racing bike.

This Panigale is an invitation to devour it with envy. Based on the "S" model, it boasts a flattering array of technical equipment, including an STM-EVO SBK nine-disc dry clutch, Akrapovic mufflers (2 kg lighter), Brembo Stylema R braking system, MCS master cylinder with brake-shift adjustment, adjustable Rizoma aluminum footrests, high-performance racing bubble and carbon parts.

The exhaust manifold heat shield, open clutch housing, alternator protection, rear mudguard and front brake cooling tunnels are all made from this noble material. The swingarm protection is also made of carbon fiber, combined with titanium.
Ducati also provides a kit for stripping the bike down for the track, with the removal of the number plate bracket and mirrors. Also available is a machined aluminum racing fuel filler cap and a GPS module for displaying lap and split times on the dashboard.

now, the V4 S Bautista takes exclusivity to the next level: each bike will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity and delivered in a special wooden crate with dedicated graphics and a personalized bike cover. The 219 units in this limited series will also be ennobled by the rider's signature on the tank (protected by a layer of varnish).

It's exactly the same recipe that cooked up the previous version of Bautista Replica. At Ducati, successful recipes are respected and repeated.
With just two differences.... The color, very chick replica; and the price. An additional world championship title means an extra 5,000 euros.
