Like the Panigale V2, the new Streetfighter V2 surprised many with its new engine - more modern, cleaner, more technical, less powerful but better filled. Its electronics include Pit Limiter and stop-start assist; it has a Lithium-Ion battery, is 3 kilos lighter, and has developed an allergy to the passenger. The bike is sold in a single-seater configuration. To take someone with you, you'll need to purchase the passenger kit as an accessory.
With its Panigale engine and chassis, 120 hp, Öhlins suspensions, bigger brakes (Brembo M50), much lower weight and a healthy dose of electronics (cornering ABS, traction, wheeling and engine braking controls, 3 power modes, 4 riding modes, Shifter Up&Down and automatic flashers), the Panigale is a real winner.Down and automatic turn signals), the SF V2 S is less expensive than theold Streetfighter, which wasn't S at all. A gift for buyers? Let's not forget that it has lost 33 horsepower, the desmo and its single-arm in the process.
On the other hand, it should prove more agile, easier and more available with its variable valve timing - all soaked in a new temperament. Still sporty, but not explosive.
