Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1870 Softail Street Bob FXBB 2024 Face to face

With Street Bob, you're in for a ride with a more pronounced slice of America. No fuss, no frills, just the essentials. It is, and claims to be, a bobber, giving priority to sensations and leaving a dry taste of metal in your mouth after each piston stroke. Once you've had a good time with the Softail Standard, this is the bike that gets under your skin. He grabs your nose, plants his headlight in your irises and whispers loudly, " You've discovered Milwaukee's neighborhoods?!? Come with me to forge your gut! "
Until now, Street Bob hadn't done enough to distinguish himself from Standard. Then his appetite for gumption took him to another level. It climbs in displacement with the appropriation of the 114 ci block. Two fuller ventricles, a slightly higher compression ratio, some 8 extra horsepower and, above all, 1 mkg more torque. Without Euro 5, it would easily have given a few more Nm. Heavy steps in every chamber, a deep and inimitable rhythm with that moment at 3250 rpm. Where the muscle is strongest. Nearly 16 mkg in the throat and almost 300 kilos to carry, that's a lot of muscle for a Harley. Vibrations are present, but not immediately. Quiet at idle, the M8 only jiggles when you take it dancing.
As it's the lightest of the Softail models, the machine gains in vitality on all fronts. A little sportier? No, we wouldn't go that far. More present.
Are regrets or resentments still being cited? Unlikely, given the improved road-holding qualities of the new chassis. Styling-wise, the deceptively rigid rear end fits the bike's character rather well, as Hardtail styling is still greatly appreciated by enthusiasts.
Spoked rims, a duo of fork gussets, wind in your teeth, Shotgun exhausts to threaten your rear and dark to the core of the metal - Bob doesn't hide his game. He's all about manliness, taut leather and hair sticking out of boots. With the speedometer reduced to an indispensable and hidden element, speed information and control lights are mere accessories.
There's also a passenger footstool now. But what for? Do you really think the Street Bob has a sense of sharing?

on a closed road 205km/h in the rain, so not at full throttle.
as for the fuel tank, I think it's more like 14l. 13.2l would have meant having to push it more than once
i don't work for Harley, so maybe I'm wrong. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
