Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1800 SOFTAIL SLIM S FLSS 2017 A bobber for the Marines

presentation of the 1800 SOFTAIL SLIM S FLSS 2017
For the sleekest, most bobber of Softails, the time has come to stand out from the crowd, to express broader ambitions, to cruise with punch and crack the twin with ferocity. More powerful in this S version, it would be at home alongside a Marine on leave, in the shadowy corners of an American base. Somewhere between a tribute to Harley's World War II military models and the palpitations of a hot-rod, the Softail Slim S has a strong expression of testosterone. Along with its Fat Boy S cousin, it represents a new Harley-Davidson family: the S series. The Slim takes possession of the manufacturer's largest engine. The Twin Cam 110, with a cubic capacity of over 1800 cm3, is housed at the heart of the imitation Hardtail frame. Until now, only CVOs were powered by this block.
with Hollywood handlebars, the experience promises to be one of great taste and hammered rubber. The grafting of this huge heart gives this Softail much more fat and torque than the 1690. 21 Nm, for a total of 146 at 4000 rpm. That's almost 15 mkg more torque than last year. Harley has obviously added a layer of testosterone to the Twin Cam, in order to erase the power difference with another representative of the series, the Fat Boy S. The Slim also boasts 12 kilos less weight. And the Scream'in Eagle badge on the cylinder heads is a real ego boost.
having inherited this enormous twin-cylinder has tipped the Slim S into a dark world that suits it particularly well. All chrome parts have been covered in gloss black. The Shotgun dual exhaust is also drowned in darkness. Threatening at red lights, the Slim S is also delicate in cruising mode. A standard cruise control system provides added peace of mind.
Apart from cosmetic changes and the Twin Cam 110 Scream'in Eagle, the Slim S features the same technical solutions, frame and equipment as the standard Slim. Neither will see it this way when the connecting rods rattle in the crankcases.
