350 copies... 50 for France... 50 years of a legend... The CB 1000 R remembers its ancestor, the one that everyone knows, that everyone feared, that marked history forever. To honor the half-century since the appearance of the CB 750 "four-legged", Honda Motor Europe is reworking a CB 1000 R in a special edition.
the tricolour deco combined with a vintage Honda emblem make this big Honda roadster look good. There's no pompous name or sycophancy associated with its venerable ancestor. Its name is almost sober, with the CB 1000 R + Limited Edition. Its first appearance was at Wheels&Waves '19, where it shared the tribute with a dozen other creations. But only this "HRC-inspired" model made it into (small) series production.
beautiful paintwork... but also carbon-finish radiator and airbox scoops. The tank bears the machine's (limited) serial number on its back. Another special feature of this Néo-Sports-Café is the SC Project dual-outlet exhaust system developed just for it. A mix of titanium and carbon, it tries not to take up too much space in front of the beautiful rim held captive by the swingarm.
already remarkable for its offbeat design, the CB 1000 R is even more so with this celebration. Its engine remains the 4-cylinder extrapolated from a previous-generation CBR 1000 RR, with 145 hp and 10.7 mkg of maximum torque. Added to this are 4 riding modes, three levels of adjustment for power, torque control and engine braking, ABS, a slipper clutch, a single-beam steel frame and Showa suspensions adjustable from anywhere.
