Motorcycle specifications KawasakiZX-6R 636 2004 More sports

The latest ZX-636 R is more exclusive than its predecessor. A number of improvements to the finish finally demonstrate the evolution of the brand, which until now had lagged behind the competition (LED taillight, digital dashboard, etc.). The machine's sportiness is immediately apparent. The riding position is radical, with the hands now reaching for the straps under the fork crown, the seat becomes higher and the suspension is less forgiving of road imperfections. All this contrasts with its ancestor's good road-holding abilities. The ZX-636 R is brutal and loses its ease of use. The engine is rather hollow at low revs, and thrust is only felt above 8,000 rpm. Some mechanical modifications have been made, such as the injection system and the ignition cut-off, which now intervenes at 16,000 rpm. The hunt for superfluous kilos has resulted in the loss of 11 kg. It's also the only 600 equipped with inverted forks and radial brake calipers. Today, the ZX-636 R has completely lost its versatility. Kawa seems to have rediscovered the spirit that made its uncompromisingly sporty models so famous.

nothing but pleasure, not very comfortable of course
but the pleasure is in the riding: superb roadholding, super-powerful braking, lightness: the curvy roads (Auvergne, Jura) are a delight.

admittedly hollow at low revs, but after 8000 rpm all the cavalry arrives and it's a delight, even with the original exhaust it gives off a superb "roque" sound.
chassis and handling are firm but incisive, and you can take it wherever you want to go with ease.
in short, a superb machine! maybe not for everyday riding, but for a few fun turns (watch out for radar) or for the track, it's ideal.
but like all sports bikes, it's not made for two-up riding. Rating : 4/5 Respond to orel
I too have had this bike for two years and like straps I think the ZX-6R is the best possible purchase in 600cc.
It packs a serious punch, after 8,000 revolutions, it goes like crazy towards the breaker (it demenage)
plus the noise, I've got a circuit-approved Leovinci high output and it's crazy, it's bewitching and at high revs it's all you can hear!
And the best part is that in the corners, it's a big bike, it's got an amazing agility, it lays down all by itself, that's all it asks for, and the throttle back is a joy, which makes me say that if you're not too tall, because it's incovenient, this 600 is pretty small, but for me it's the best buy, even better than the 1000s on the road! Extreme sensation, gro braking...this sporty car is bewitching in just one look...its sharp angles give it a demonic air !!!! nothing can resist it..
mine was blue with a micron muffler..sweet melody at low revs é lereste is staggering, big acceleration...the forced air intake croons... it's heaven on earth!!! launched at 282 kmh on a bypass it's back to the future guaranteed..
Nothing to say, Kawa, these are back on the hit parade of big-sensation bikes... FORZA TEAM GREEN ! Rating : 5/5 Respond to Wildlolo

i just tried one out last night (thanks Thierry for lending me your blue toy).it's "full power".well, believe me, it's very, very powerful.it lifts into second gear on acceleration without doing a thing.and even in 3rd gear, the front wheel has trouble touching the ground!
in short, it's a real bullet that nails your eyes to the back of your helmet every time you squeeze the right handle
and what can I say about the engine noise...sublime!!!(especially when it's force-fed air)
in short, if you've got 10,000 euros, buy it!
it's terrific! Rating : 5/5 Respond to fred
