presentation of the Z 1000 R Performance 2018
The Z 1000 R Performance is Kawasaki's top roadster. A machine full of grunt, affront, enriched with beautiful parts capable of turning heads, esgourds and sensations. The 1000 R already gives another dimension to the big Z, with its Brembo M50 calipers fed by braided hoses, Öhlins amorto and chunky warrior color scheme.
With the Performance Pack, Kawa has now completed the accessorization of its flagship roadster. And how?
with a name that says it all before you even get started. Akrapovic. Two Slovenian mufflers set the tone, with the ever-popular attributes of weight loss (around 4 kilos) and a spoonful of extra power. Thus equipped, the Z needs nothing more than a safe, experienced rider. Because the Z, be it 1000, R or Performance, is a boiling hot machine with no sweetener. No traction control, no ride mode, no co-pilots. Only ABS is tolerated. With over 140 hp, you have to be a little careful when the pace increases. But the chassis allows you to be good, as long as you love it as it should be: a ballsy roadster that smells of gunpowder rather than silicon.
