presentation of the NEVADA 750 Anniversario 2012
Discreet yet endearing, the Guzzi Nevada has just celebrated its 20th birthday. Like some small customs, such as Harley's 883, it seems that time and fashion have no hold on certain models. Mandello blows out the candles with an "Anniversario" version. Few changes other than an elegant two-tone paint finish and a few chrome accents. 2012 brings more punch with the evolution of the twin. Like all models powered by the 744 cm2 block, the Nevada 20th Anniversary benefits from a major upgrade to its twin. No less than 70% of the parts are new, both inside and out. The edges of the cylinder head fins have been softened, and a new, classier cylinder head cover has been added. The spark plug has been hidden and the volumetric ratio increased to 10.2:1. In the cylinders, much has been reworked: new combustion chambers, new pistons and rings, and a modified intake. Induction is now via a single 38 mm throttle body. The gas flow passes through a Y-shaped section to feed the two bowls. At the outlet, there is a lambda sensor for each cylinder. In addition to improved fuel consumption, this revised block boasts improved performance, with 51 hp and almost 6 mkg of torque. But its maximum output is much higher in the rev range. The gearbox, too, promises improved comfort.

I was looking for a motorcycle in my hand, powerful enough not to go through the hell of my apprenticeship with a 125
I got my license at 57+ after a few years on a Virago 125
This anniversary Guzzi has the look I wanted. The V engine gives a special feeling, and the vibrations are there..
The handling is serious, and the power is more than sufficient for the road
For the freeway, it's rather inappropriate
But my aim is to ride it in the Cévennes, or elsewhere, in peace and quiet
On the other hand, on the main road, there's no problem at all, as the 750 cm3 are very much in evidence
The great advantage of this bike, in addition to its looks and ease of use, is its ease of maintenance: there's nothing to do apart from cleaning
NO WATER, NO CHAIN!!!
Oil, good oil, of course, and unleaded 95 (4.5 liters/100, no more)
The tires hold up well and the braking is excellent
And then there's the engine noise, unique in its kind
That's all there is to it, but be careful, there's enough under the saddle to lose points on your driving license
Good riding to all, and better the beauty of the road than speed on it. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Bedouze
I just bought a nevada 750. Its handling surprised me a bit... I find that it
"sausages" in curves. Is there an
amorto adjustment or something else that could alleviate this?
Please advise me if you have encountered this problem. Rating : 5/5 Respond to BB
Having had the pleasure of owning two of them, I find this little bike quite extraordinary. It's easy to handle, expressive and very economical, and I've never had any serious problems with it. It's obvious and I can recommend it. Now this little bike is in my wife's hands and she's delighted with it. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Marcotte
not many kms so far, but I'm having a great time, good handling on country roads or expressways, it's a very maneuverable bike Rating : 5/5 Respond to nono44
