presentation of the 750 GSX-R 20ème Anniversaire 2005

it may not have seemed like it at the time, but 1985 saw the appearance of the model that would mark a new era in sportbikes. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Suzuki launched a limited edition (100 units for France) of its 750 GSX-R in the colors of the very first model. Judge for yourself: the design is 20 years old, yet it still retains a certain charm. Those who witnessed the illustrious ancestor's first rides will weep with joy. In two decades, the GSX-R has gained 42 horsepower and lost 13 kilos. But all has not always been so rosy... Would you believe it? The 750 suffered from overweight during its lifetime. In the 90s, it weighed in at 208 kg dry. While the first model was criticized for its roadholding, the current one is an all-round success.

Compared to the standard model, this edition is entitled to a few little extras: a special key, a subtly tinted bubble, a coloured chain and new front brake discs. The tracks are grooved and perforated, a tuning touch that suits the bike's image.
In quick succession, Suzuki presents 2 models that are sure to be the envy of many. First, a new 1,000 that's going to hurt like hell; then this 750 History Replica, honoring the legend born 20 years ago and endowed with the formidable potential we all know. The success of the GSX-R is not about to end.

* The 2005 600 GSX-R is also available in this limited-edition design, in the same number of units.

French Model 2005
20 years after its release, I've just acquired a 20th anniversary bike, like new with 10Mkm. Magnificent with its replica color, its sharp yet contemporary lines, zero assistance no abs no cata, super light, and performance that remains at the top of the range even when compared with today's 1000 supersports Rating : 5/5
French Model 2005
20 years old next year, 78000KM, and still in good shape, ultra solid mill, many km on circuit, just electrical worries after 14 years of service, a crazy bike that I would not sell, to keep preciously. Rating : 5/5

bike too cool I surkif it but it is not to put in the hands of everyone because it is a pearl too powerful finally to have one I find after 2 years that it has never assé but in any case for marsouiller with friends on the road I leave with a big advantage this bike and for me the best that suzuki has made engine very cool torque at all speeds and very powerful when you accelerate it never stops well if to 305 km/h a bike of exception for lovers of gsx-r and suzuki Rating : 5/5

I think it's great that Suzuki did something for the 20th anniversary of the 750 gex. For me, the 600 wouldn't have been entitled to it. The color is nice, the discs are more aggressive and the yosh pot is much more present than the original one! But it would have deserved a little something extra, even if it meant raising the selling price a little, like a little engine tuning or a bit of carbon here and there... you don't turn 20 every day! Rating : 5/5
Exceptional bike
The chassis is top-notch, and it's almost impossible to fault it on the road
The mill... well, it's a gex, it pushes and pushes and pushes! Civilized up to 8,000 rpm, it gets really wild above 10,000 rpm
And of course, the performance is top-notch: I got a nice 295 on the odometer with mine at full 6 on the A13..
A marvel!

French dockholida Model 2004
Without doubt the best sports bike for the road. More affordable than a 1000 but at least as efficient on the road, more torquey than a 600 - in short, the ideal bike for exploiting your rider's abilities without suffering from your bike!

French Killmaniac Model 2004
the best 750 ever, I've swept zx9 and R1 with it, don't believe it, it's got performance!!! the handling is top notch!!! only the mirrors are bad (unless you want to admire your elbows lol) otherwise it's as heavy as a 400 and has the performance of a mile, and anyway the Suz have always been the best!!!! Rating : 5/5
French R_max Model 2004
I've just bought this furious bike, and I'm already finding an incomparable pleasure. I had a '97 1000 CBR F and now I'm changing category for the circuit... This bike is flexible and intuitive, and lands where you want it to land. I'm a fan! See you soon on the roads of France BON ROUTE... Rating : 5/5
French Samuel Model 2004
I'm currently the owner of this bike and it's pure happiness! It's docile and furious at the same time! Below 8000 rpm, it's a "quiet" force, and above that, it's absolutely reserved for the racetrack, always controllable without ever being viscous... it holds a thousand gsxr and it's intuitive, in short, a suz! What happiness... Rating : 5/5
French kevin Model 2004
