Motorcycle specifications Ducati1100 Streetfighter V4 S 2025 In pursuit of fire

Naked

The new Streetfighter V4 has taken the hyper-testosterone roadster to a whole new level. The engine and chassis are taken from the hypersport Panigale V4, with virtually no changes. A slightly different intake, 2 fewer horses, a half-degree more open column angle and that's it! The Ducati monster becomes even more terrible.

It now sends out 214 horsepower. Insane! Its electronics are abundant and its design even sharper. Since it's customary for an S version to be more efficient and premium, the SF V4 naturally splits into two in this better-equipped duplicate.

The Streetfighter V4 S is suspended via 3rd-generation Öhlins controlled damping. The electronics control the 43 mm NIX30 inverted fork and TTX36 shock with greater precision on the track and greater comfort on the road. Hydraulic spool valves (instead of needle valves) act more quickly, ensuring greater responsiveness to road profiles. There's also a "cruise detection" strategy, which softens the suspension when the system detects a constant, highway-like ride.

The Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 system works in concert with the Driving Modes. Damping à la carte, with that inimitable Swedish "road feel".
Agility is further enhanced by a pair of forged aluminum wheels, much lighter than the cast aluminum wheels on the standard Streetfighter V4. The front one has even allowed itself to lose 150 grams since the old SF V4 S.

An Öhlins steering damper, a lithium-ion battery and two kilograms less weight also distinguish the S model.
As with the other version, riders can look forward to new technical refinements such as Brembo Hypure brakes, the Ducati Vehicle Observer module to optimize riding aids, a more pleasant shifter, a large 6.9" TFT display, Race eCBS braking with on-board intelligence on the rear caliper, the new WET riding mode and the "Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm" for added traction.

189 kilos without fuel.... 214 horsepower in the V4.... An appetite for violence in the throttle before the electronics digest.... The Streetfighter V4 S is one of the most insane roadsters in current production.

M.B - Manufacturer's photos

we take another look at the on-board electronics:

  • Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 semi-active suspension
  • IMU 6-axis inertial unit
  • Ducati Vehicle Observer DVO
  • DTC DVO traction control
  • DSC slip control
  • Wheelie control DWC DVO
  • Race eCBS
  • ABS cornering
  • Neutral start assist DPL DVO
  • Shifter Up&Down DQS
  • Engine brake control EBC
  • Pit speed limiter
  • 4 Driving Modes

and on to the Driving Modes:

  • The Race sends out all the sauce with a High power mode (optimum thrust and calibration for each gear ratio), low-inclusive electronics, DTC and DWC at level 3, engine braking at 2, just like the Race eCBS and DSC. Suspension is set to Active Track 2.
  • The Sport sets the power mode to Medium (same watts but more progressive acceleration). Electronic stability is higher, with DTC and DWC at level 5, while Race eCBS is set to level 4. Damping laws are set to Active Dynamic 1.
  • The Road is also set to Medium power. Assistants are a little more cautious than in Sport, with Race eCBS remaining at level 4 and engine braking at level 3. The suspension level is Active Comfort 1, with improved bump absorption.
  • Rain drops the power to Low while the electronics intervene for maximum stability. Race eCBS goes to level 5 and suspensions soften in Active Low Grip 1 mode.
