Motorcycle description sheet Ducati1100 Panigale V4 Tricolore 2025 Sweating pride
It's a reverent, absolute, precious, bewitching tradition. Since the 1098, every new generation of high-performance sports bikes has been honored with a "tribute" version, cloaked in a dress in the colors of Italy. Hence the simple, evocative name TRICOLORE. When it came to the first Panigale V4, the name was changed to "Speciale". Ducati's latest sprinter forgets this episode and takes up the old torch to present itself as the new Panigale V4 Tricolore.
A tribute to whom? The venerable 750 F1 from 1984. A surprisingly agile machine that succeeded the fearsome 900 SS. Then the dress was passed on to the herald of Bologna's hypersports: the 851 - the one that launched the Superbike in Ducati's veins. Thus, the green-white-red theme was once again applied to a red pistarde, in a completely new ideology. For this redesigned identity, Aldo Drudi (the famous designer) chose to break with the Bologna codes with an asymmetrical decor. A red side, a green side, and a checkered flag covering most of the fairing. A true ode to performance, to the circuit, and to the love of Italy.
Braking on a different scale
The company also honors the Tricolor with new T-Drive brake discs, 338.5 mm in diameter and 6.2 mm thick. Until now, the largest disc size for a production machine was 330 mm. A new level has now been reached, for even longer-lasting braking. Heat dissipation and efficiency have been improved for the same lever pressure. To mark the occasion, the Brembo Hypure calipers are painted titanium.
Like most of Ducat's special editions, the Tricolore gains a series of beautiful parts. Compared to the Panigale V4 S from which it was derived, it is enriched with carbon wheels (950 grams lighter and more agile), an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, adjustable aluminum footpegs, a Brembo MCS 19.21 master cylinder, an alcantara seat, a GPS module for on-board telemetry and lap times, carbon parts (brake caliper cooling ducts, front and rear mudguards, openwork clutch cover, chain guard, heel guard, exhaust guard, swingarm cover), a solid aluminum quick-release fuel filler cap, a racing bubble and trim elements to replace the mirrors and plate bracket.
The bike will come with a certificate of authenticity, and not only flatters the eye from every angle, many will devour it with their eyes. At start-up, an animation exclusive to this version wakes up the dashboard. A fork crown engraved with the model's name and racing crest indicates its serial number. 1000 examples will be offered, at an obviously abominable price. We've seen worse from Ducati, but you'll still have to shell out a small mortgage.
A patriotic family
This Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore joins a very honourable family of bikes ostentatiously bearing the Italian colors: the 1098 S, the Monster S4Rs, the 1199 S, the 1299 R Final Edition, the Panigale V4 Speciale and the 30th Anniversary Monster. The 4-cylinder V-engine spits out no less than 216 horsepower.
To complete the look, Ducati also offers a limited-edition combarde, helmet and jacket to match the bike.

Ducati 1100 Panigale V4 S 2025 riding modes:
" Race: A - offers the rider the full power of the engine (216 hp) with direct response of the Ride by Wire system to throttle opening (High Power mode), and a very firm suspension (Active Track 1) for optimum performance. Race A mode features a low-intrusive electronic setting designed for track driving, with Race eCBS at level 1.
"Race: B - retains full engine power with High Power mode and a different suspension setting (Active Track 2). The default electronics setting remains low-intrusive and designed for track driving, but with less free DSC calibration (2 instead of 1) and with Race eCBS at level 3.
"Sport" - associated by default with the medium power mode (maximum power of 216 hp and more progressive response of the Ride By Wire system) and a sport suspension (Active Dynamic 1). Electronic controls are set to support the rider during sporty road driving.
"Road" - recommended for on-road riding, especially when surface conditions are less than optimal. The RM offers the rider 216 hp with progressive throttle response (Medium Power Mode) and Active Comfort 1 suspension, particularly suited to absorbing bumps.
"Wet" - designed for driving on low-grip or wet surfaces. The RM limits maximum power to 160 hp, with a particularly smooth throttle response (Low Power Mode) and a softened suspension configuration (Active Low Grip 1) to promote grip and safety.
