What's changing in 2022
ducati updates its strike force. The Panigale V4 models gain a few more horses, improved ergonomics and a noticeable gain in efficiency. More heavyweight stuff, this time on the roadster side, with a Streetfighter V4 SP incorporating the technical solutions of the Panigale SP - even more formidable than the SF V4 S! The family welcomes a new member: the Streetfighter V2, powered by the 955cc twin of the Panigale V2.
The Multistrada mid-size models change their name to Multistrada V2, to standardize engine architecture designations. The Pikes Peak edition returns, based on the MTS V4 S with a racing twist.
Two new Scramblers make their appearance: the 1100 Tribute Pro and the 800 Urban Motard. A little luxury for the XDiavel with the Nera special series.
Ducati's big news is the DesertX. With this motorcycle, the Bologna-based company launches into true off-road riding. With its 937 cm3 of power, technical specs calibrated for adventure and a design reminiscent of the Cagiva Elefant, it promises to be an insolent success.
The Scrambler 1100 Pro Dark, Scrambler 800 Icon Dark, Multistrada 1260 Enduro and Panigale V4 SP were discontinued, the latter being replaced by the SP2.

The rear wheel shaft can lose its structural integrity and break, which can result in loss of control of the motorcycle and increase the risk of a crash.

The screws securing the passenger seat backrest may not be properly tightened, which could cause the backrest to break, posing a risk of accident. The backrest may also break if a passenger leans on it without holding on to the rider or seat strap.
