the RC series has been given black shoulders, adding depth to the sporty, sublime look of this limited series family. as with the majority of MV-Agusta's 3-cylinder models, the RC variant will be carried over to the Turismo Veloce in 2019. When MV-Agusta chose to put the stamp of its racing department, Reparto Corse, on a production bike, it was originally on the F4 1000 RC, a demonic sports bike dedicated to Superbike championship homologation. That gives you an idea of the level. For some time now, the deco and RC appellation have been investing in a less exclusive machine, allowing you to get from home to the track via all sorts of roads and passes. This is the role of the 800 Turismo Veloce RC limited series.

quite simply, it's superb. Already in its standard version, Schiranna's trail-GT is a pure stylistic success. In this RC opus, the deco adds the spice inseparable from Italian sporting expression. The two-tone red and black upholstery emphasizes the august side of the whole. The large 37s are a reminder of the brand's former glory.
In addition to its styling, modelled on that of the machines entered in the WSSBK and WSP, the Turismo Veloce RC features specicific forged rims, partial carbon mudguards, crankcase protectors, a small numbered plate on the handlebars and a black coating for the footpegs and muffler cover. Alas, no SC Project exhaust, as seen on the Brutale or F3 of the RC series.

the Turismo Veloce is one of the few trail-GTs to be powered by an 800 cm3 engine. The norm in this segment is 1200. But not just any mill. The Italian 3-cylinder is a blend of spirit and character. It now benefits from a number of mechanical improvements to enhance reliability. The MVICS 2.0 engine management system has been further enhanced for greater fluidity and efficiency. In addition to 110 hp and 8.6 mkg of torque, the Turismo Veloce comes as standard with 4 maps, 8-level traction control, up&down shifter, anti-wheeling and ABS. The chassis remains unchanged: a structure combining a steel trellis frame with aluminum plates, large Brembo brakes with 4-piston radial calipers on 320 mm discs, and Sachs suspension that adapts damping in real time.

the MV-Agusta TV 800 RC borrows a maximum of equipment from the Lusso version. Enough to take you far and wide, no questions asked. In addition to standard luggage in the Reparto Corse livery, the machine comes with a 12V socket for connecting accessories, a center stand, Garmin GPS, heated grips, Skyhook semi-active suspension and cruise control. The panniers can carry 30 liters of cargo each.

alongside the F4 1000 RC, F3 675 / 800 RC, Brutale RC and Dragster RC, the Reparto Corse family continues to grow. MV-Agusta seems destined to offer every category of its machines in this special livery. But this kind of delicacy comes at a double price: firstly, there won't be enough to go around, as only 200 will be produced again this year; and secondly, the price is clearly seasoned.
