presentation of the 660 Trident Tribute Edition 2025
The Trident 660 Tribute Edition is back. Released in 2024, the first version was quite intriguing: eye-catching graphics and more features... for the same price. It was supposed to be available for just one year. But it seems that its success has changed Triumph’s plans.
So here is the 2026 Tribute— yes, Triumph is a bit ahead of its model years. The number 67 retains its prominent place in the design, alongside a blue squad. White has faded into the background in favor of black accents, while Diablo red takes over the rims.
A nod to racing
In essence, a livelier take on the 2024 model. The prominently displayed “67” wasn’t chosen at random. It was the race number of “Slippery Sam”—a 1970s race bike competing in the Production class. After a few setbacks, the machine became a true force to be reckoned with on the Isle of Man. In its class, it won the TT five consecutive times, from 1971 to 1975.
Let’s get back to the Tribute. Is this second edition as generous as the first? There are some extras, but it’s less generous than before. On the original model, Triumph had added the Up & Down shifter. This is now standard equipment. Based on the latest version of the Trident, the Tribute gets the same ‘25 upgrades: the shifter, an additional riding mode, cruise control, the Bluetooth connectivity module, and an inertial measurement unit to make the ABS and traction control responsive in corners.
It’s got the look!
Thus, the Trident Tribute truly stands out from the standard model thanks to its bodywork, its two-piece aluminum engine guard, and its small windshield—add-ons introduced by the original Tribute. Except this time, Hinckley isn’t giving them away for free and has raised the price by 150 euros.
This price increase remains reasonable, given all the recent upgrades to the Trident (for Euro 5+ compliance) and the enhanced equipment that make it even more appealing.

The little British bike stands out for its originality as the only roadster in its class powered by a three-cylinder engine. With a displacement of 660 cc, it delivers 81 horsepower at 10,250 rpm. A power output calibrated for its target audience (it can produce more on the Daytona, aimed at a sport-oriented clientele). Lightweight and agile, the Trident weighs in at 190 kg ready to ride and is built on a steel trellis frame, an inverted fork, and a Showa shock absorber, with Nissin brakes where 2-piston calipers grip 310 mm discs and 17-inch wheels fitted with 120/180 tires.
Let’s wrap up with the onboard electronics, which are quite impressive for an entry-level motorcycle. We’ve already noted the presence of cruise control, a shifter, cornering ABS, and smartphone integration. Let’s not forget the three riding modes (Rain, Sport, or Road), the deactivatable traction control, all-LED lighting, and a hybrid LCD/TFT color display.
For new riders, this special edition can also be restricted for A2 licenses.
