Motorcycle specifications YamahaYZF-R1M 1000 2017 When R1 wants to give more!!!

Sport

Pass of 3. An exceptional vintage or the folly of a rare commodity, the Yamaha R1M is a thrill to think about and to ride. When it was unveiled, it was so popular that all thelimited-edition models were snapped up in record time... even before the price was known. This success convinced Yamaha to produce another series for 2016, and a new tour for 2017. As with previous tours, orders will be placed via an online registration system, this time from October 11, 2016: https: //r1m.yamaha-motor.eu

Why such a craze for this "super R1"?!? Ducati has its S versions; Yamaha an M version. In Italy, many models have benefited from prestigious declinations. The standard R1 is now joined by the R1M, dedicated to improving its dynamic performance.

with its major evolution in 2015, the R1 has set many of its rivals straight. The engine retains its cross-plane timing, but delivers 200 horsepower. Yamaha has recalibrated it slightly for 2017 to meet Euro4 standards. The Deltabox frame is new, as are the swingarm, lightened rims, M1-style design and on-board digital technology. In this M version, there's an unmistakable feature: the gold color of the suspension lines.
The R1M is equipped with Öhlins suspension. But not just any suspension: an ERS-controlled version. The R1 is equipped with a 6-axis inertial sensor, which uses the data received to adjust the fork and shock absorber in real time. As the data is checked 125 times per second, the control unit is constantly aware of the bike's dynamic situation, and can therefore determine the optimum compression and rebound damping for the suspension. The servomotors then act directly on the Swedish components.

In keeping with its exclusive racing style, the R1M is clad in carbon (full fairing, front mudguard and seat cover). Some parts are covered with a transparent film to clearly identify the nobility of the material, while others are painted.
Another special feature is the M's ultra-polished aluminum fuel tank. Yamaha wanted to accentuate the contrast with the black frame by applying the same ultrapolished treatment to the swingarm.

as you'd expect, the R1M isn't for everyone. Its equipment, potential and price will keep it in the hands of experienced riders. Already ready to race, the R1M comes with a wider rear tire than the R1, a 200. The tyres chosen, which are almost slicks, have been specially designed by Bridgestone for this model.
It invites you to slam on a time right away, and to have a lot of fun on the track. And it records everything you do. Once the session is over, you can connect with the on-board control unit, fitted as standard on this M, to observe and analyze your race data, such as lap times, speed, throttle opening, GPS tracking, lean angle, etc...

Yamaha YZF-R1M 1000 2017

R1M owners will receive an invitation to the Yamaha Racing Experience: The YRE will take place at major European racetracks during the summer of 2017. Over two days, participants will have a rich and constructive program, with machine tuning workshops and pre-race briefings to ensure that R1M customers confidently use their machine and enjoy all its benefits. Following these briefings, all riders will be able to exploit the R1M's state-of-the-art electronics during several on-track sessions supervised by current and former racing glories.

During the course, they can also talk to Yamaha Racing experts on technical subjects. Tire, suspension and clothing technicians will also be on hand to offer advice.

with this R1M, track racers are in for a treat. The most hardened will regret not having an extra dose of horsepower, to further emphasize its exclusivity. And we wonder why this version, with its top-of-the-range suspension and carbon bodywork, weighs a kilo more than the standard R1?
Let's face it: what's in those 200 kilos? A near-track grinder, Öhlins steering, 200 horsepower, titanium connecting rods, shifter, traction control assisted by rear-tire slip control, anti-wheeling, brake assist mode, integral ABS, four cartridges for the front and rear axles, and a rear brake.aBS, 4 maps and 4 driving modes, a full digital instrument panel with two displays (road or track), telemetry and race tires. Makes you wonder if it's the rider who wants the R1, or the other way around?

French Thierry Model 2018
Spending 24,000 francs on an ugly, electronically-loaded, randomly-reliable Japanese car stings a bit! It's ugly, and 180 kilos isn't bad, but for 10,000 francs less you can have fun even if it weighs 20 or 30 kilos more. Rating : 3/5
French HIATUSBELLI
you have to have ridden it before talking about it, and the 24,000 BALLS are justified if you know what you're doing, which is rare ....
as for the rest, I'm not disappointed with this bike, it's superbly well-balanced and guaranteed fun!
i've had all the hyper-sportives on the market in 20 years, and this one really smacks of perfection
only the initiated know what I'm talking about, the others I leave to their criticisms which concern only them, those who have no idea what they're talking about.

Absolutely nothing extraordinary and far too expensive. A standard DUCATI Panigale V4 is far superior in every way, and less expensive. Rating : 1/5
