presentation of the 765 Street Triple Moto2 Edition 2026
I know a few people who drooled over theMoto2 edition of the Street Triple, released in 2023. A true sports bike without fairings. Better still: a Daytona without a fairing. Produced in 2 x 765 units at the time, it left a lasting impression on Triumph.
So much so that a new batch has been proposed for 2026. This time, 1,000 units will be produced. A single color will be available, more in shades of gray, with lemon zest to excite the eye. Then as now, the roadster is just as performance-hungry, with its sights firmly set on the racetrack.
The winning team
It's not called Moto2 for nothing. Triumph has been heavily involved in the category (with its engine) since 2019. It's a choice engine, with the same juice as the RS: a three-cylinder that's strong in the mid-range, with 130 horsepower. Torque is also strong, at 8.2 mkg. All in all, this engine is a delight, as exhilarating as it is efficient.
The Strit' Moto2 Edition will enable its rider to push his riding even further. The chassis is the most incisive in the family, with a shorter wheelbase, a narrower spine angle (only 23°) and a reduced headroom of 95.3 mm. All of which adds up to a heck of a lot of agility, also boosted by a featherweight of 188 kg.
But Triumph's mid-size streetfighter goes even further with the adoption of a fully adjustable Öhlins NIX 30 upside-down fork. As it takes over the STX 40 amorto (also Öhlins) from its RS sister, it boasts full suspension with top-of-the-range hardware. The tires are designed to match, with Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3s glued to the floor.

When I say streetfighter... café-racer would be more accurate. To add to its vitality, the Street's cockpit has been redesigned with half handlebars, 80 mm lower and 50 mm further forward. As the seat is also slightly higher, at 839 mm, the body swings to the attack with no other concern than jubilant trajectory.
In addition to its equipment, the British model is enriched by a few carbon parts (headlight cap, engine cowling, front mudguard and side scoops), a specific dashboard animation, a seat cover and a superb machined and openwork fork crown. The symbols of its identity and its number in the limited series are engraved on it.
Alongside its special features, the Street Triple Moto2 also benefits from its RS base, with Brembo Stylema brake calipers and state-of-the-art electronics (5 riding modes, cornering ABS, angle-sensitive and disconnectable traction control, 5-inch color TFT speedo, timing system, Up&Down shifter, anti-wheeling, full LED lighting, daytime running light signature, connectivity pre-equipment, under-seat USB port).

Second service
So this is not a new model, but a reissue. Which in no way detracts from its formidable potential and the desire it can inspire. Still, we'd have appreciated a few little touches to mark the occasion. In any case, more than a reworked dress. The "Moto 2" 2026 also uses the same Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V3 SP as the2023 edition. Super tires, needless to say. But Triumph could have done with the V4s to give this vintage a bit of an "update".
The price has risen a little, but almost in line with inflation.
