presentation of the YZ 250 F 2012
yamaha understands the importance of a motocross bike's cornering performance. That's why the YZ 250 F has been designed to offer, among other things, the best possible cornering performance.
For a motorcycle of this type, the ability to enter corners quickly and to exit them at maximum speed are essential qualities. These crucial phases are not the only ones during which the bike must excel if it is to shine in competition. During jumps, whoops, starts, changes of trajectory or braking phases, the machine must also demonstrate numerous qualities, such were Yamaha's specifications when designing the YZ 250 F.
Whether in competition or in training, the dynamic behavior of the YZ 250 F is a marvel. Its qualities (balance and agility) are also expressed through its sleek styling and compact form. This class-leading machine boasts ideal ergonomics.
The lightweight aluminum frame with split cradle contributes to the YZ 250 F's low overall weight. The centering of masses allows the YZ 250 F to enter corners naturally, favoring corner exit. The YZ 250 F gives the rider an excellent feel for the track, enabling him or her to get the most out of the machine.
Radically upgraded in 2010, the YZ 250 F's five-valve, DOHC, four-stroke engine features an optimized compression ratio and new carburetor settings. The result is a more linear rise in power throughout the rev range.
The YZ 250 F's front suspension, with its long 310 mm travel, perfectly absorbs any difficulties encountered, while enhancing rider comfort on all types of terrain. The optimized rear suspension is a model of efficiency, perfectly absorbing shocks on landing a jump. Its responsiveness guarantees excellent traction.
The YZ 250 F's handlebars can be adjusted to four different positions, leaving the rider free to position it as he wishes.
The YZ 250 F's design is a perfect reflection of its qualities. It conveys an image of lightness and agility, power and aggressiveness. The minimal parts of its bodywork contribute to its dynamism and give it its distinctive style.
The texture of the saddle cover prevents sand and mud from clogging it. It provides excellent grip and facilitates rider movement.

I have a problem with my 2017 YZF 250 motorcycle. It's been two times that I ride without problem a good part of the day and it dies when I fall and impossible to restart it.
I changed the spark plug, it was white and it did not change anything....
thank you Rating : 5/5 Respond to Goderre
for the rest it's expensive and not necessarily useful a line if you want to increase performance a little and the look counts in the 700â'¬ the line see more if you take in titanium and carbon end,
ignition in the 650â'¬ range etc etc ... Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
