What's changing in 2022

2022 coincides with Yamaha's 60th anniversary of Grand Prix racing. The entire R series, including the 1000 R1, 700 R7, 300 R3 and R 125, will take part in the festivities with a red and white "Speed Block" dress. Alongside the R6 Race, Yam now offers an R6 GYTR, fully equipped to go out and slam some lap times. To shake things up, Iwata has produced a "Razgatlioglu" edition R1, in tribute to the WSBK title won by its Toprak rider.
The roadster corner continues to bubble with a redesign of the MT-10 and MT-10 SP, XSR 900 and an engine upgrade for the XSR 700.
Sensitive to calls for adventure, the 700 Ténéré sees the arrival of a more exploratory sibling: the World Raid.

Yamaha France is recalling its motorcycles equipped with the CP3 engine (2021-2025) due to a fault in the ECU settings. This problem causes the TPS sensor to malfunction, resulting in premature wear and the accumulation of abrasion particles. This can lead to unstable idling, engine stalling and the appearance of error code P2135. The solution: "Reprogram the ECU and replace the TPS sensor," says Iwata.
