White Power (WP Suspension) is an Austrian brand of high-end suspensions renowned for its expertise in the motorcycle industry. Founded in 1977 by Wim Peters, the brand first stood out for its characteristic white springs, hence its original name. White Power soon established itself as a key player in motor sports, particularly motocross and enduro, thanks to its high-performance, robust products.
In the early 1990s, however, the brand suffered a setback. In 1991, White Power was declared insolvent, marking a turning point in its history. The company restructured and changed its name to WP Suspension, ushering in a new era. This revival was given a decisive boost in 1995 when WP Suspension was acquired by KTM, one of Europe's leading motorcycle manufacturers, with whom it has enjoyed a close working relationship ever since.
Today, WP Suspension continues to play a central role in the industry, thanks in part to its integration into the Pierer Mobility group, which, in addition to KTM, includes Husqvarna and GasGas. The brand is renowned for its technical innovations, such as the semi-active APEX suspension and the XACT and TRAX systems, designed to optimize off-road and racing performance.
Present on international circuits, WP Suspension equips the bikes of champions in prestigious competitions such as MotoGP, MXGP and the Dakar Rally, while also offering cutting-edge solutions for production bikes.
